QwikPOS Privacy Policy
QwikPOS is an offline point-of-sale app developed by OAW Infotech LLP. Your business data stays on your device. We do not operate a QwikPOS account service and we do not collect, transmit, sell, or use your data for advertising or tracking.
Information we collect
None. QwikPOS contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
Data stored on your device
Products, categories, sales, customer details you enter, your store profile, settings, an optional store logo, and an optional one-way hashed app-lock PIN are stored in the app’s local storage. If you configure automatic encrypted backups, the backup password is held in the device’s secure keychain.
Permissions
QwikPOS requests access only when needed: Camera to scan product barcodes; Photos to choose a store logo; Face ID or Touch ID for optional App Lock; and Bluetooth or Local Network to connect to a receipt printer selected by you. Permission data is used on-device for the stated purpose.
Backups, exports, printing, and sharing
When you create, share, print, or restore a backup, receipt, invoice, or report, QwikPOS sends the file only to the destination, app, or printer you choose. Password-protected backup files use standard PBKDF2 and AES-GCM encryption. Files outside QwikPOS are controlled by you and by any storage or sharing service you select.
Payments
QwikPOS can record a payment-method label and generate a UPI payment QR from information supplied by the merchant. It does not process payments, store card numbers, or move money. QwikPOS is a paid app, but the purchase is handled entirely by the App Store under Apple’s privacy policy — we never see or receive your payment-card details.
Children
QwikPOS is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as QwikPOS evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above.
